20s&30s is an informal group with the aim of building friendships and to encourage one another in our faith and to serve each other, the church family at Eden and others around us. Everyone is welcome and you are not committing yourself to the group if you come along; you are welcome to come to as many or as few of the events as you would like.
We meet on the fourth Sunday of the month for lunch after the morning service, at the home of one of the 20s&30s or another member of the church. Sometimes we have a talk about a relevant topic; sometimes we just enjoy chatting with one another. On the second Saturday of the month we meet for some sort of social activity, ranging from walks to barbecues to poetry evenings. Suggestions for topics for talks and for activities are always welcome! Occasionally we organise something a bit more special, like a whole day of teaching together particularly for those at our stage of life.
The email list can be used by everyone to let others know about interesting things going on, events you are organising – or would like to – help needed, and so on.
To receive information about what’s happening within 20s&30s, please email to join the group’s e-mail list, or speak to one of the organisers – Angeline Liles, Tim Nolan or Elspeth Wilson.
Look out for notices with details of lunches and socials!
