As a church community Eden is strongly committed to overseas work.
We support a number of international partners from the congregation who work in South America, Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. They serve God in many different ways: one is a lecturer in a theological seminary, others work as church planters, Bible translators, teachers and in development work and healthcare. All of them seek to work with the local church and reach unbelievers with the gospel.
We support them by praying, funding their work, and organising pastoral visits. Copies of their newsletters are available and various sending agency magazines can be found in the concourse area of the Chapel. We encourage individual correspondence between members of the fellowship and our international partners as well as run prayer support groups for each missionary. Once a year we have an International Sunday to help us to keep our focus on reaching the world with the Gospel. We also support students and others in short-term overseas projects.
